Designing a website from scratch

Kevcon was a small business that was in need of an online presence. The goal of the website was to not only showcase past projects and services, but to also serve as an informational resource on the industry's products and developments. I was tasked with writing copy for the webpages as well, which would require educating myself on the industry and the language/terms used.

Most of the creative assets were jpegs of past projects taken for documenting purposes and not necessarily for marketing. I realized that I would have to get creative with use of graphics and icons to make the site more visually engaging. The company also purchased GoDaddy for their host. GoDaddy is a good host for people who are unfamiliar with web design but for myself I found the template to be rather restricting when composing a page.
